Training sessions with F4L Triathlon Coaching in WA

Our Triathlon coaching programs can be geared towards any distance triathlon that our members are aiming for - from sprint distance to Ironman.

Coupled with our training programs, that accommodate all levels and triathlon disciplines, F4L's training philosophy also targets the specific skills of triathlon, e.g. Running off the bike, bike setup, time trialing, transition, open water swim craft, and is an integral part of the skills taught at F4L Triathlon Coaching.

If a more flexible, casual training option is what you are after F4L Triathlon Coaching also offers some casual training options.  An up to date list of casual sessions available (including their starting points) is available here.

F4L Triathlon Coaching aims to deliver all this in a friendly, social environment and through regular social get-togethers. This ensures a friendly relaxed environment with many opportunities to mingle with other like-minded athletes at coffee after training or at social functions.

Coached Squad Swim Sessions

Ten Casual Squad Swim Sessions = $110

Monday (7-8pm) & Thursday (6:30-7:30pm) & Saturday (6-7am)

St Brigids College, Lesmurdie

To attend the sessions we do ask that you are able to do the following prior to attending to ensure the enjoyment for all the athletes attending:  Swim 100m Freestyle without stopping.

F4L Triathlon Coaching Run Session

Tuesday 5:30-6:30am & Saturday from 8am at various locations in the Perth Hills, Swan Valley & Eastern Suburbs

(Coaching fee is $10.00)

We move the Saturday sessions week to week so check out the schedule page to find out where we are.  The sessions involve a group warm-up, some technique work and drills and then some harder stuff (intervals or hill reps) with a cooldown - we often go for a very social coffee afterwards

Cycle Skills & Transition Training

1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month, 6:30pm

(Coaching fee is $10.00)

Maida Vale Primary School car park.  The session is purely skills based (although it can get a little competitive!) - we focus on bike handling technique, group riding skills promoting awareness and transition practice.  Bring your bike, cycling kit, cycling shoes, helmet and run shoes.

F4L Group Cycle Ride Sunday 7am

(starting from various locations in the Hills area)

Leaving promptly - for the first 45min we all stick together to create the group atmosphere.  After 45min we continue to ride at a steady consistent pace but we won’t wait after that if an individual were to get dropped from the group. Everyone will be made aware of the route and we will start and finish at a set point and probably have a coffee at the end…it will be individuals responsibility to get home.  Should anyone puncture whilst within the group or suffer a mechanical or have an accident the group will stop.

There are additional sessions available for anyone on a specific, individual training plan and opportunities for one to one sessions with video analysis.
