Our coaches put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that you are in the best condition for your goal races as well as developing you as an athlete to reach your long term potential. In order for our coaches to provide you with the best support as an athlete an appropriate feedback, we expect our athletes to:
  • Complete their sessions as prescribed to achieve the goals of the session
  • Upload their training data to Training Peaks regularly
  • Upload their training comments to Training Peaks regularly
  • Not change their training programs without discussing it with their coach
In addition it is expected that F4L Triathlon Coaching athletes also do the following:
  • Promote F4L Triathlon Coaching to like minded athletes
  • Write the occasional article for the F4L Triathlon Coaching website about their season or training or their main race etc
  • F4L Triathlon Coaches also ask that any F4L Triathlon Coaching athlete sets a good example by observing the road rules, especially stopping at stop signs/lights and act as an ambassador.
Communication Most importantly, we expect all our athletes to actively communicate with their coach to form a two way relationship.  The best results are gained when both the coach and athlete work together with the athlete providing regular feedback. We expect that most athlete communication is before or after regular squad sessions, however, we also expect that athletes will email their coach 1-2 times a fortnight with any feedback, updates or questions that they have.
