Matt Kraus

3T5A4514aName: Matt Kraus How long have you been in Triathlon: 10 months Greatest achievement in Triathlon: In my first sprint distance triathlon this year I panicked in the swim leg, nearly drown , composed myself, got lost and swam 150m more than I was meant to and still managed to finish the race in good time. Greatest achievement outside of Triathlon: I have had many achievements over the years but most recently a group of mates and I got a team together for Movember, grew some world class moustaches and raised $20,000 for the charity. What you love about F4L Triathlon Coaching and what attracted you to us in the first place: I was bumbling around on a program that I downloaded from the internet but found that I wasn’t being consistent or honest with it. I wanted to get serious about triathlon and needed some help. A mate had been training with Paul for a few months and had all good things to say about it. A look at F4L Triathlon Coaching's web site, a couple of emails and a phone call to Paul and I was on the F4L Team. From the outset Paul has been fantastic, taking into consideration my work commitments, family life, training goals and continually tailoring a program to suit me. The F4L Triathlon Coaching Team, Paul has gathered together, are a great bunch of people who support and understand other. The team brings a sense of mate-ship and teamwork to an individual sport. What are your targets in Triathlon over next two years:  To finish Mandurah 70.3 in under 6hrs then to continue to build my fitness and enjoy the rest of my planned races for this season.  Next season I would like to have learnt from my first season and apply these skills to continue beating my PB’s and possibly become a competitive age grouper In one line sum up F4L Triathlon Coaching: Balanced, sustainable, progressive and enjoyable.
