From horses to bikes – Alison

I first met Alison in Mallorca 2020, just before the world changed… literally overnight.  Having taken up the sport to lose some weight, Alison recently started with F4L Triathlon Coaching, with the aim of achieving her goals this season!  This is her story.
 
Why do you do Triathlon?
I did my first triathlon in June 2019, after loosing a lot of weight.  Wanted to try something new & fell in love with the sport and lifestyle that goes with it! I like that it’s you against you! 
 
What is your sporting background?
I used to do horse riding, jumping competition for many years.  Stopped 4 years ago after a bad fall, started running & fitness.  Then in 2019 I got into Triathlon…
 
 
What attracted you to F4L Triathlon Coaching?
I met Paul & Kate, in Majorca last year at one of their Triathlon Training Camps!  Amazing coaches, professional & inspiring!  I love that their communication is so easy.
 
What are your goals?
My goals for 2021 are a half-marathon in may &  my 2 first 70.3 Ironman in June & September.  Can’t wait!
