Meet Michael – aiming for IRONMAN

Michael has just started with F4L Triathlon Coaching.  One of the challenges he faces is living in Greenland... stunning... but perhaps not ideal for Triathlon training!

Why do you do Triathlon:

I have try many sport over the years. And now am in triathlon. The primary reason I do triathlon is that I love being challenged. I watched triathlon on TV and thought I would give it a try. Just an Olympic distance. But after that I was hocked. So now I train towards seeing how much my body can perform.

What is your sporting back ground:

I come from a running background. But after moving to Greenland I have run trails and off-road trails, and finally extreme running in the mountains. After some minor injuries, I started and still do Cross-fit.

What attracted you to F4L:

I was looking to find a professional coach. I have never try that before, I have only been self-trained and found Paul via Training Peaks.

What are your targets:

My main goal is to have a great race at IRONMAN Copenhagen in August.
