How to keep your diet and nutrition on track when training is curtailed or limited and you are a bit frazzled

In this episode of the PK Triathlon podcast, all about nutrition, Kate and I welcome our first guest, Liz Johnston-Trow. Liz is a sports nutritionist, based in France.

Throughout this episode Liz offers some excellent nutritional advice for Triathletes. We are talking aboutnutrition for beginners through to intermediate triathletes, although much of the advice applies to the more experienced athlete too.

If you need more specific advice, then please contact a specialist.

Liz also runs a small holiday retreat, Les Vigeants - you can check it out here

During the episode, we mention a great website: Swim Bake Run which has some excellent ideas for home baking.

Please note: we are talking generally and none of this advice is specific to individuals or people with underlying medical conditions that may affect/be affected by your nutritional intake.

Should you be an athlete with an underlying condition like coeliac disease/ crohn’s disease or have concerns about food being linked to a mental health challenge please seek the advice of a Registered Dietician or a Registered counsellor with a specialism in this area.
